President BayCare Plus Health Plan
BayCare Health System is seeking their next President of the BayCarePlus Health Plan, a Medicare Advantage plan.
The President is the strategic leader and responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the BayCarePlus Health Plan. Reporting to the System Chief Financial Officer, the President leads the organization to set and accomplish strategic objectives in alignment with BayCare's strategic plan for value-based lives. The President is the public facing leader of the health insurance plan business, and is responsible for leadership of business development, sales, operations, compliance, underwriting, member experience and financial performance.
BayCare, based in Tampa Bay and the central Florida Region, is a $5 billion, Fitch AA and Moody's Aa2 rated organization, which has grown into an integrated health care system with 15 hospitals across the region driven by the same mission: to provide high quality, compassionate care to all. The ideal candidate will bring 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operating health insurance business. Ideally, candidates will have experience with health plan operations in Florida as well as five years of Medicare Advantage plan experience.
