Financial Analyst (F-6739)

Our Client is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Acquisitions and Asset Management team. This analyst will be responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and modeling transactions for their commercial real estate activities. The role provides an opportunity to make an impact for their investors and accelerate your career within a growing company. Previous ARGUS experience is required.

Essential Functions:

• Financial analysis and modeling including the creation of financial models, pro-forma analysis including cash flow, NPV, DCF, and IRR analysis.
• Underwrite acquisition opportunities, including underwriting assumptions or estimates when information needed is not readily available.
• Research property demographics and economic trends to support financial assumptions through internal and internet research.
• Perform industry and market research on current tenants to support financial forecasts based on the data.
• Analysis and research of market demographics, market rents, and other industry trends and data pertinent to the analysis and underwriting of acquisition opportunities.
• Abstracting property financial statements and due diligence information.
• Assist in establishing and articulating valuation strategy based on project requirements.
• Prepare market analysis on vacancies, absorptions, and comparable rents and sales.
• Consolidate and synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Analyze and oversee operational metrics as well as provide insight into market trends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with ARGUS and Excel modeling a must (ARGUS Certification preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA degree preferred in Business, Finance or Real Estate.
• Exposure to the Real Estate industry strongly preferred.
• Financial analysis background required.
• Must be highly organized, accurate, and punctual and able to operate well in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office)
• Strong organization and multitasking skills are required.
• Resourceful, proactive, professional with a creative approach to problem-solving
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity that will promote strong market analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate analysis and results.
